A lovely peaceful setting among woods and gardens and adjacent to Hamburg's biggest cemetery, this light, bright and open cafe serves delicious home-made soups, cakes and sandwiches as well as a more extensive menu. We were there for a wake, and the service was alert and unobtrusive, and the food kept coming! There was a wonderful local speciality soup of potato and sausage which really had our taste-buds going.We would go back, on a happier occasion, and try out the main menu!
There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Nice staff, pleasant furnishings and delicious food. Here you cannot do much wrong if you want to go with the family For me personally, there is a distinct character that makes the visit really memorable. This is a purely personal opinion that can differ from person to person.
We were there with 7 people, food and drinks were there fast. The restaurant wasn't so crowded. The food rich and very good. From Bratwurst to Schnitzel everything has tasted outstanding. The price/performance ratio is also good. Sure.
A bit like before, but nice. Very tasty cake, also for just so coffee drink without a sad occasion.
