Restaurant San Christobal & Pinnerberg Stube Mexikanische Spezialitäten

Stopped in here for dinner and had a great experience! Atmosphere: this restaurant is located in an old house and takes up the entire bottom floor. It is divided into several different areas with plenty of seating for a variety of different sized groups. It is decorated in a Mexican feel and is very comfortable. There is even a bar area for those not wishing to eat. I spoke with the owner (who is very personable and makes himself visible) and found that they also have live music every so often. Staff: the waitress was polite, professional, and attentive. She made us feel right at home and made sure we had anything we might need. Food: awesome! We had called ahead and placed an order for a single meal for our party. We had Mexican style Schnitzel (with melted cheese and jalapeños), fries, and sautéed zucchini. Prior to the main course, we had pancake soup, which was simply amazing! This is definitely a great restaurant with a wonderful staff! If you want to try something different that will taste good, this is it!

Avoid this place at all costs! Service was extremely rude, the food wasn't even close to Mexican, and last but not least, the owner tried to trick me into not filling in the tip/total lines on my receipt!! When I insisted, she pitched a **** and told me to leave. Beware...
