Obviously I wanted to try their crepe since it is so highly rated and my partner an ice-cream to accompany me.As we entered the premise, our smile was not greeted with a reciprocal smile but the body language appear to be telling us "We are not interested with your business".We asked if we can sit down. It was just a nod from the male staff. The other 2 female staff were looking stressed out. One was busy making crepe which prompted us to ask, if the crepe and the ice cream can be served in 15mins. The male staff responded, first with a Yes but then a very sarcastic tone, "We are machines if we can serve you within 15minutes." Then, we asked, "Even for scooping ice-cream in a cone."? He showed annoyance without a respond and we know, we should just get out of this place. In my view, even if one is busy, it does not hurt to respond in a friendly tone. That's where the test of customer excellence kicks in, can one sustain service level irrespective of peak/low periods? The slogan of this restaurant is "Essen mit Kultur." Well, it definitely living up to POOR Service culture and setting a bad impression of Feldkirch.
has been one of our favorite locals in feldkirch. after 40' we have dared to ask ourselves if our order has fallen. After 50', our service tells us we'll get the food in 10'. after 1h still no eating. the tables around us have already almost eaten up (all come after us, understand.) after 1h 15 we complain again with the result that the service will become still patty or unfriendly. we make the wish to pay. strangely, she told us that it's ready to eat, and we bad guests don't want to pay it anymore, but only the drinks. for our service a too big challenge, because it also brings us the wrong one. we count ourselves together, put the 11 eur for 3 drinks on the table and go. no apologies, just a lagging. now we sit 20' later in the dogana and have eaten already before us. It is very surprising how a long existing local (with very good food) can still be surprised by the guest storm on a beautiful sunny day. If you are overwhelmed with many guests, you should either have more personal or less tables. we have been the last few years summer regulars on Saturday. now with security no longer.
have been there several times. as always, the staff was very friendly, the locality was also very clean and tidy. the taste of eating was as always very good and the portion sufficient. it is worth a visit
