the old surfhouse is the clubhouse of the golf club emmental. there are many golf players who can cost their hobby. the personal is friendly and is very easy. Unfortunately, you sometimes feel not welcome from the restaurant's chef, he goes past the guests in a big and wordless way. the card is very small and clear. you want a little more creativity and more healthy small things (instead of only flammkuchen, hamburger, salat dishes or sandwiches.) the foods are usually freshly prepared and taste good. Lastly, we had a very well made pork carving with on the point garden noodles and a homemade sauce. the nice was perfect. the service is quickly overwhelmed at andrang, but makes this good with ease. the prices are generally at the upper limit.
we had eaten spontaneously in the "old sumpfhaus" at midday. we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food but also by the fair trips. I ordered a "sumpfhaus lunch" at which it is an surprise, which will be a ceremonial. also the price was not visible on the menu. before we got the bill, we speculated about the price. the actual price was far below the amount we appreciated. a very pleasant surprise! the service was attentive and friendly.
Had drinks here, a bit windy and a lot of staff, but uncoordinated!The knusperli were solala and the sweetpotatoes were fine, the choice on a hot sunmer day is limited ss cheese rösti, cordon bleu etc is all very harty/ heavy in 30 degree ;(The head waiter is a bit inpatient but effective! huge parking thanks to Lidl ;)
was thrilled by the new opening of the restaurant "altes sumpfhaus".The ambiente and the employees whether service or kitchen are pointed (thumen high.) the new menu is a dense and it is for everyone what.Gance love thanks to the very nice hostess.
