The Restaurant at Hotel du Port is ideally located on the lake front, at the jetty for the ferry across the lake to Geneva. On a sunny day, the view across Lac Leman to Switzerland is perfect. The Restaurant itself provides a terrific location for photographs. The food is very good and the menu is fairly wide. The wine list is more than adequate. The home specialty is fillet de perches from the lake. It is very tasty and has just the right amount of sauce. The waiter service is very efficient with waiters who are competent in English. However, it has to be said that this restaurant is not cheap. As such, it is the type of place that is well worth a visit for the unique ambiance. But at these prices one visit is enough.
