We had a set of lunch for $20 consisting of Filet of Perch, accompanied by a delicious mixed salad, 3 different types of Veg. and followed by Vanilla Ice Cream. Lunch at the same price varies evryday except weekends. You can use the garden that has a hot tub and of course there is the indoor pool. The restaurant is sweet and also offers local craftsmen. The meal is plentiful and the language service.
This restaurant is one of the favorite restaurants of the workers in Leysin. Good prices, great food. But if you want to have a really nice experience, it is not the best place to go to Leysin. Decoration is terrible, very old. The lady is not very friendly. And food is good, but very simple. In summer, children can play outside on the terrace.
On the day of our arrival we had lunch in this restaurant. We had a very nice soup with beautiful pieces of bread when we had a large dish of delicious 'Blanket de Veau' with rice. To dessert we had the homemade Flan de Chocolat. The lady who served us was very friendly... For the amount of 18 Chf we had a perfect lunch.
Nicol is always there for you. Great menu, good part, always fresh. Nicol makes you feel home. Five stars.
