The restaurant is reached by climbing the village. The promised panorama is more of roofs than of the landscape. The lady of the house and the cook is an undamaged star attraction. She tells us what she cooks tonight and how it is prepared and served. She repeats it at every table. I say her tongue in the cheek, she should record her performance and play it over the TV screen in the house to save time and effort. The food is very good until it comes to my steak. I can barely eat more than a few mouthfuls without hitting Gristle. I should have sent it back, but I try to avoid complaining if the rest of the experience is good. That's my problem. The problem with the restaurant is that the patron tried to tell me that I expected Filet Streak and this cut was less tender. I know what I expected and I know what I got. The incredible. When we finish our desert and the restaurant was clearly offered in the process of closing the lady to cook a fresh steak. It was too little and too late. I refused. If you go, it could be good. But be careful. And be braver than I complained.

Looking for a nice Monday dinner we were happy to find that Cesar’s soon opened. Stephanie was so helpful to explain the decisions she prepared this night. Although she said there would be some surprises that there... out. We had a Chèvre roti starter nested on roasted bread in Mesclun counter with goat milk glacier, then we had another main. All were excellent, including black beef from Carmargue, and a trio of filled vegetables. The ones we were braided about were lamb, which was tender and tender with a marinade that tasted from fresh herbs, red wine, and we think cinnamon. A bottle of a local red wine complemented everything without overwhelming. And it was also delicious with the dark chocolate sorbet. The other desserts we had were a rum raisin pudding ice cream combination and a parfait including (Kastanien-)Crème de Marron. Very recommended. I wish we stayed longer in Bonnieux to eat again.

Booked on the reviews of travel advisors and for a 'experience'. Owner was surly and not very welcoming. Eat well, but not amazing for one and a half hours waiting for a tiny piece of fish with a salad. I know the cooking cows... always fresh, but all appetizers are cold and basically only need assembly and titivation, desserts are the same. The cook came out after the service and went to every table for accolades!!! If you have to wait for dinner for so long, you'll be tensed and ruined the evening. Would certainly not recommend

A gem of a restaurant run by Stephanie and her husband. The food is her creation, it’s different and she cooks it specifically for you. The menu is limited but unique in its own way. Don’t expect hotel service there’s only so much two people...can do just enjoy the conviviality of a truly local restaurant
