Don't expect too much. The menu is average, the choice of food aims at persons who will drive by and will need something to eat and nothing to rave about. The prices are as always close to sightseeing points a tad on the higher side. No one will be deeply disappointed, no one will think of it after 5 to 10 weeks. The staff is kind of friendly, they try to speak English, sometimes with gestures, sometimes even in a funny (for the guest!) way, yet no one will ask them even to get Facebook friends with them. Average, nothing more, nothing less.
The restaurant is on the market square on the 'new' town (i.e. not up the hill in the historic town). It's a typical German restaurant serving huge portions of good simple robust food. It seems to be the most popular restaurant in town. After getting bored being soaked at Neuburg air show the next day we left and came back here for lunch
We where a pax of 4 eating here. All 4 had the Angus steak with salat and roasted pan potatoes. Very nicely cooked to request and tasteful. For a simple beerstube type of restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly, informal and fast. We paid 125 EUR incl drinks which is very good value. Would be happy to go back
Amazing restaurant and food. Friendly staff who are bilingual and the food was amazing!! Went here while working with Camp Adventure and I thought of this as a second home. Danke, dass du mich so willkommen fühlst.
