Restaurant Buhne XI

We were eight in the restaurant and everything was very tight and uncomfortable. The waiter very much asks my child to wash his hands with soap because he touched the candle. The staff “Du’st” generally all guests. I don't think so. The menu is taken from either a barcode where everyone sits on the phone or there is a huge chalkboard that can be placed badly in the small area where we sat. But what really annoyed me is that the waiter has already cleared plates, even though I (was still the only one) have eaten! You don't do that. The food was okay. I don't have to have a second time. I don't have to visit the restaurant a second time. Shame! I have aside from criticism on site because I didn't want to spread a bad mood on my birthday. Kid-friendliness: Please leave the child education to parents. Thank you.

They are situated right next to the sea just behind the sand wall and have an really exciting fish menu, like most of the restaurants on Hiddensee. Seating can be in- or outside, when the wind howls and in wintertime it is quite cosy inside. Also great for kids and families, staff is most helpful and professional food comes fast!

We go as often as we can on our holiday on Hiddensee in Buhne XI Essen. It's always excellent. Super friendly hosts and great food. Thanks Silvio and Katrin.
