Having left Germany almost years ago and returned maybe times since I always look forward to ordering Gyros, tonight's experience was great I found a nice little Greek restaurant about miles from my hotel on TripAdvisor and set out for a walk....The waitress was excellent I explained my desire for a small salad, gyros, tzatziki, hot peppers, and fries. Nothing else well apart from a small beer and some red wine!! The Gyros was perfect that's all I need to say it was grilled to perfection it was moist with a good crust on the outside, I was in heaven some will never understand but for those that do visit!! the flavour was great the tzatziki was lovely. This is not star dinning it's just a great cultural dish cooked very well and it's not expensive very very reasonable. Family ran restaurant by the looks of it would I return if in the area without a doubt. I'd take a taxi next time as I encountered some youths that required to learn that's life's more fun with a smile! On the hole great wee place!!
Waren Samstag abend um 19:30 da, am 18 März 2017, Restaurant war auch gut besucht. Erst um 20:45 kam das Essen (das schmeckte, deshalb noch die 2 Punkte)Gäste die nach uns bekommen sind, hatten schon ihr Essen und sind schon gegangen, da hatten wir unsere bestellte Gerichte immer noch nicht. Zwischendurch kam zwar eine sehr junge Kellnerin und sagte es wäre was in der Küche schief gelaufen und nahm noch mal die Bestellung auf, aber ohne eine Entschuldigung, das es so lange dauert. Als das Essen endlich kam, war es leider noch niemals ganz richtig. Bei meiner Schwester (die an diesem Tag Geburtstag hatte, deshalb ist es so ärgerlich) fehlte eine Zutat und ich hatte Pommes statt Reis bestellt und was kam Reis.
With a warm and friendly environment and excellent Greek specialities at an affordable price, restaurant Amfipolis is one of the best and oldest Greek restaurants in Mülheim. The owner is open hearted and friendly while the staff is friendly and eager to provide their services...to the customers. Superb Greek dishes ranging from steaks to fish and seafood. Occasionally the menu is augmented by specialities of the day. Highly recommended!
zu meiner letzten Beurteilung, mittelmäßiges Essen etc., gibt es nur noch hinzuzufügen, dass Passanten durch den Besitzer angepöbelt, beschimpft und bedroht werden! Danach schmeckt selbst ein mittelmäßiges Essen nicht mehr. Die Stimmung ist unten, der Appetit auch!! Ein Blick in die Küche, Seitenstrasse nebenan hilft für eine eigenständige Bewertung!Nicht zu empfehlen!!
