We had simply one of our best meals ever in this nice restaurant located in the small and nice hotel we stayed overnight. We had carpaccio of scallops with nicely decorated with leaves from spinate and a tasty sauce. Wonderful !! Then the best prepared lamb chops ever. Tender never tasted before (and we Norwegian's eat a lot lamb), a kind of juicy rice cake and some well prepared vegetables. A super local red Rohne wine followed the dishes. Ended the meal with a nice cup of double espresso. Perfect in nice facility and the hotel owner as waiter. A super dinner !!!!

The tuna steak was really very good! I'm keeping this address handy for the next time I'm in the area! Do be aware that quantities do seem to be limited (they have a farmers? market sort of menu so if you arrive too late (we arrived around 12:30. we reserved in advance it is possible that you may get turned away. Remember that Viviers is a small country town! The waiters were friendly and helpful. Local/regional aperatif drinks are on the menu as well as a local rosé wine. : The resto also proposes various local cheeses :

We had the pleasure of staying in the Hotel and ate there just because it was the easiest option for Dinner. We had no idea that the food and attention would be that good !! We were there in August and it was rather hot, but we dined outside in a lovely tree lined terrace . We could have stayed there forever. The Staff spoke enough English to make conversation and ordering comfortable and their wine selections were excellent. The Food was beautifully presented and flavorsome. Highly Recommend and will return.

This was our second stop over on our journey south and we could not have imagined anything so good as this. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to dine al fresco in a delightful rustic small terrace area. The food from the amusee bouche through to the imaginatively presented lemon tart dessert was exceptional. The service was warm and friendly. The owners were keen to let us know that they had used local produce which added to the enjoyment. Will definitely return one day!
