Red Lion, High Lane

Awful, awful service for our Christmas Dinner today. Was never asked if we wanted drinks during our entire meal, so we went up to the bar and ordered while other tables near by had their drinks delivered to their table. Starters were tasty and came quite quickly until our salmon order. They skipped two courses and went straight to our main course. They told us we will sort something out at the end that 's not good enough when you have paid so much money for something that should be high quality. We then waited over 30 minutes for our main course after this. We had an apology for this mess up that 's it. My poor mother and grandmother had to leave to go back to hospital so missed their puddings which already paid before in August! I asked for the waiter to box them up, he didn 't he threw them out (he didnt say that but i used to be a food runner, it was obvious what had happened). Had to ask again, he then came back to ask again...we were only given two mince pies for me and my sister when we should have had 4 was so done with the whole experience. Only cared about the large parties let 's be honest. Price per person: £100+ Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
