Really good Indians, you can say that real care was taken with the food. I ordered a king prawn tandoori and the shrimps were properly peeled and partially cut to let the sauce infused properly. It seemed to me that they were marinated some time before cooking and it was a really delicious dish. Such a refreshing change from food coming from many curry houses. The other curries we had were also great and there was a real variety of taste between them, again, very different from many curry houses that only have a few different tinted sauces and put some different things in them and they call them different dishes. This was our second meal here and will not be the last!
Welcome back to Raj and the team! We have been here regularly since 1994! Good to bring you back! Many people criticize the new layout, but time goes on! It is bright, openly planned and very well made, that is a nice refreshing change from the old skool dark stands from the 90s! Eating is absolutely on point as it was always when there was something not on the menu just asking how they are very accommodating. Great thing about the Raj Mahal is that they also open for lunch from 12-2, which is nice to sit and watch the world go by! Can not recommend this facility very enough and look forward to seeing you soon!
