I have heard different opinions about the R-Café, and so I was looking forward to a nice evening with some friends here. beautiful atmosphere, but this is the only star in my review. the waiter was nice, but not really "up to date". he forgot to accept an order of my friends. After we had ordered drinks and eating, we waited at least 15 minutes until we got our drinks (we ordered nothing special - red wine, two bottled eggs). after another 30 minutes he brought a pizza (my friend said the quality was in order, nothing special). he told us that the other three meal times will come "in a second". my friend finished his pizza, we waited for our orders. another 30 minutes later we canceled our orders and told the waiter that we wanted to pay and go. his reaction was like: "Excuse me, not my fault." - Excuse me, but this reaction was pretty bad for a restaurant that is not an almost food. we waited 10 minutes until we could pay, of course there was a problem with the change money. all in all I have lost 90 minutes of my life in this poor restaurant and still leave it hungry! I will never visit this place again!
we have often made the experience that we are still overlooked and ignored for more than 30 minutes. the service staff is not only research but sometimes simply unfriendly!If you get to eat as a group after over 60 min, but everyone has only one and the half has nothing yet, although the others are already finished, this has nothing to do with good service. that you are asked if you have tasted it or if you want to drink something else, you can make a taste. Even is the guest.We have experienced these at the moment when it was empty. Many visitors are therefore not an excuse.One table can only be ordered 24 hours in advance. even if it is empty, no reservations are accepted for the same day. customer orientation is not that!
the R-Café is a popular departure place in a home located directly on the rhino with a beautiful terrace area with beautiful weather and already heavily frequented at the weekend. this is also a challenge for the nice operation. on the menu nothing exciting but tasty. the ruhretalweg passes directly by the restaurant, so make sure to take a break.
good to the coffee in between, not good to eat delicious. long waiting time when you get the wrong eye view, eating cut.
