Prince Of Wales

Lovely little pub in cricceth North Wales with a lovely atmosphere and the food was nice and filling after a walk on the beach. Tried the roast dinner and it was decent, felt the gravy was out of a tub, would have topped the meal off lovely with lovely a nice meat juice gravy. Kids ate southern fried chickens and beef burgers and had no complaints. Also the kids lasagne was nice with a Herby flavour. Sprouts were rock hard though and stuffing couldn't had a bit longer in the oven to give it a crispier edge. Would recommend and will go back . Lovely staff, good selection of draughts and a free pool table when food isn't being served, which happened to be what we turned up for at lunchtime (and drinks! . BUT it was off season and we were encouraged to buy food from the town and bring it in to eat, which was perfect. We'll be back next time we are in Criccieth. I learned a lesson here about first impressions. We needed somewhere to eat, early evening with a dog. I had my sights set on Dylan's but they didn't have a table. The Prince of Wales turned out to be a superb alternative. Very friendly and accommodating staff and pie and chips to die for, a lucky find for us! Good range of beers food menu mixed ..had gamon with trimings large 10onz steak cooked to the way I like Great place to visit if on hols in criccieth. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
