Potbelly's is awesome because their sandwiches are delicious and it's priced very reasonably. Their employees are fast and friendly and they have a great efficient online ordering system. If all the restaurants followed in Potbelly's footsteps, they would all be successful and all the customers would be happy. Not just this location, but every Potbelly's I've been to is superb. Other reviews complaining about their orders: it is probably your own communications skills or maybe you're not speaking English properly. I eat this many times a week because it has ZERO preservatives.
Decoration-wise, Potbelly feels like the kind of place that wants to be old timey, but also new age at the same time. The sandwich selection is adequate and they toast it after they make it which is nice, but can sometimes leave the bread a little too dry and crunchy. They serve salad, chili, soup, and milkshakes as well. The staff is friendly, if not a bit indifferent at times. A slightly above midrange sandwich at a decent price.
I am so glad I tried Potbelly's again! I had it 10 years ago and was so disappointed in their meatball sandwich, I just never went back. This time I had the ham and Swiss and it was devine! This location at Old Orchard mall, is open and airy, and has a cute little reading nook by the window, and a 1 person booth that faces a wall, perfect for us introverts.
Quick, polite, and professional staff. Great spot for a sammy. Good location in the mall. Always been a place to grab and go when the family cant decide what they want.
