Visited today for lunch. Love the cosy feel and the warm welcome from the staff was an excellent first impression. Service was outstanding, the food was very good. My onky criticism is I do not like how the service charge is added and without customers...being aware, especially for people. We were leaving a tip anyway it was only because I got my husband to check first. We are not American and whilst we can and I would if I felt necceto ask it to be removed, it is my opinion that it is extremely bad practice to place it there in the first place. We will most definitely be going here again as we did really enjoy the overall experience. The stars is due to Service charge as it is not needed as the staff are most welcoming and do a star service, apart from the bar an who could learn how to smile a bit more.
Fantastic meal here tonight! Courteous booking process with a confirmation call received earlier today to confirm our reservation. Service and food was exceptional. Special thanks to the chefs and also Franco, Sabba and Kate. Extensive menu with authentic Italian cuisine on offer. The specials were...particularly amazing so don’t miss out on these. Would highly recommend for a romantic evening or equally good for a night out with friends. Superb… we will be back! Graze Mille
It was about two and half years since we last visited this amazing Italian restaurant. I am pleased to say it lived up to it's expectations again. Such a friendly family run business who make you feel most welcome. A great service and authentic food....I had a Lasagne House special (white pasta dish including mushrooms) most delicious! My husband and friend enjoyed an Italian Affogato for dessert. Would certainly recommend.
I have eaten here with my family on numerous occasions and both the service and the food has always been exceptional. Very authentic and the waiting staff are the best I’ve ever had the delight to be served by. Could not reccomend this place more...and will always choose to eat here every time I am in Guildford. is
