Poseidon is a bit out of the town centre but is worth that little bit of extra effort to get there. The food is excellent and the portions are perfect unlike in some other Greek restaurants where you are overwhelmed by the portion size and...end up either having to send half your plate back or leave feeling unwell. The restaurant itself is very spacious and well laid out; the separate rooms would be perfect for larger family gatherings. The best thing about this restaurant, though, has to be the staff. Guests are made to feel welcome and at home from the minute they step through the door. Service was quick, efficient, superfriendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be visiting again soon
Wir gehen seit Jahren zu dritt jede Woche ins Poseidon. Die Herzlichkeit des gesamten Service, die überragende, frische und abwechslungsreiche Küche, die neben der Karte auch jedes Mal tolle frische Ergänzungen bietet, begeistert uns seit Jahren. Fisch- wie Fleischgerichte bieten große Qualität gleichermaßen. Gerade wer nicht nur die üblichen "griechischen Grillteller" liebt, wird begeistert sein, obgleich diese sich mit Qualität zu überzeugen wissen. Durch die Renovierung ist der Sprung ins Hier und Jetzt auch vom Ambiente her sehr gelungen.Reservierung mindestens am Wochenende unbedingt nötig!
For the first time I could not find anything wrong with a restaurant. Anything I ate here was perfect, starting from the bread. I had a lamb leg baked in aluminum foil, very juicy and tasty. The tzaziki was delicious and also the vegetables and...salad had personality of their own, they were not boring side dishes. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it
Friendly and helpful staffs, nice atmosphere and decoration, high quality meal in a reasonable quantity for a good price, various choices of vegetables, fish and other types of meat, different beer choices, possible bar or credit card payment
