Portofino New Brighton

The food was nice and there is lots of choice. Staff are friendly.Biggest let down was the service as this was slow, even though there were lots of staff on and the restaurant wasn't that busy. We waited a while for plates to be cleared and empty glasses weren't cleared when more drinks arrived. When we got the bill, there were drinks on there that we hadn't ordered, but when we pointed this out it was rectified.Didn't notice any gluten free options either on the menu and the staff didn't inform us of any when we mentioned of a gluten intolerance

I felt the need to write this review as there were number of horrible reviews online. Yes it was quiet but the food was delicious, they were wonderful with our young daughter and although the meals took a little while to get to us the drinks kept flowing and when it did arrive it was fabulous

Great food friendly helpful staff great atmosphere relaxing never rushed this was our first time dining here and we will be booking again thank you for a very pleasant Evening with great food and a very reasonable price highly recommended

Food was lovely, the cheesecake was fabulous! Lovely atmosphere. I would definitely go again
