This place is super cool. We are all huge pop culture fans in my family and I was excited to get my family to try this place. My 13yo cousin visited this week, so I was excited to show her too. We went and there was a 15 to 20 minutes waiting time that was good. But when we finally sat, we were greeted by a server that seemed to hate her life. I took my daughter to the bathroom as soon as we sat at 6:13 (I know exactly because I had made pictures of all cool decor) and finally decided to leave 6:40, as our server did not come back to take our order yet. When we were gone, we saw other parties waiting in the waiting area so that the restaurant could pick up because there were still some empty tables. I just hope this was a free day for her because this place is really great. My father will probably never go back because he has little patience with this and it was a terrible first impression for him. We landed somewhere else nearby, took their last table and had drinks, our order took and appetizers delivered all within 10 minutes.
The food was a mediocre tasting best, the pack of my wife was soggy (dripping with fat, the pommes were fat, and the menu choices of the child were basically not present (after a sign, it was a limited menu on this day due to nefarious reasons. However, the atmosphere was pleasant with background music playing a mash of everything. The decor is a mixture of retro and pop culture. I drive from this restaurant every day to work on my way, and I really wanted to love this place (especially after seeing reviews and published pictures of the menu. Unfortunately, the aesthetics are not enough to make the $75 price tag it worth for two children's meals, a burger and a pack.
I found this little jewel in the heart of Chalfont. What is notoriety is the nostalgic comic pop culture feel with a little for everyone. I had ordered a Balboa, a cheese steak sandwich on a grilled cheese platform awarded Curly Pommes. The wings were like advertised, quite dang good and crispy, and the sauces were delicious. We had dinner there with friend and they enjoyed a walk along the memory lane. Good food and comicon experience a must for themselves.
This is a great place because it is unique with its decor but the services good the beverage selection is better than average and the food is really good. Everyone will enjoy this place not only the comic con fans
