"Very attentive staff, including landlords, serving good food which was well cooked. 'Interesting ' wooden wall inside, not sure what that was about. A little pricey for a village pub, but overall a pleasant visit."

What an excellent pub friendly atmosphere, great staff, excellent food and wonderful entertainment (what more could you ask for). We just happened to be passing and saw a sign out the front saying Ouse Valley Singles Club playing tonight so we thought we would go along and enjoy a live band and have a meal. Well let’s start with the meal that was just excellent homemade food (the pies are magnificent along with the hand cut chips) the band were just excellent (you could hear the band clearly over the instruments they really gave it their all). But most of all I would have to say the staff and the regulars where so friendly they really made the night we will definitely return.

Patrick and Carol, the owners, have created a wonderful environment to go and enjoy a meal and a few drinks with family and friends. Their hospitality is second to none! They put on some fantastic social events and live music events (no wonder those who are barred go to every measure to try and get back in lol) Keep up the good work! Lovely place!

This pub has a excellent atmosphere! Children and families are made to feel extremely welcome. The new decor in the pub really adds character to it’s already vibrant personality. I would highly recommend this pub to all. A true village gem.
