Planchette Bistro Creperie is a jewel among Ambler restaurants. The variety of seafood specials is extraordinary and their preparation is exquisite! During our Thursday evening dinner we enjoyed attentive food and BYOB wine service. The pan-seared salmon with garlic potato and a jalapenos honey glaze, grilled octopus and tuna steak are delicious. Overall Planchette presentation service was on par with the better bistros brasseries in Philly New York We'll be back for their crepe specialties and music!

Was asked to leave by the owner after being there for 1 hr and 11 minutes. We had three full courses for two people and at the time I was asked to leave (7pm) I was finishing my last two sips of wine. There were at least four open tables and we were told we had to leave for other people. ABSOLUTE SHAME because the food is good for French in the area. When I said that was very rude to ask us to leave after an hour an 11 minutes we were told to never come back. ? no problem.

We visited this past Saturday afternoon to explore crepe options nearby. We were disappointed in the service and communication from our waiter. The bread was cold and hard. The la viande crepe with duck was delicious. The grilled octopus had an odd taste. The fried calamari was average. We were also surprised by the price of the octopus compared to the portion. Overall, we did not have a good experience during our lunch here.

We were sat a makeshift table that was totally lost for service. The salad was a mere half a plate of arugula. I ordered a bronzino that they filleted in front of a table across the room and screamed across the restaurant at us if I wanted lemon. We were totally forgotten. Noise level was crazy high. There seemed to be no manager or host to assure proper service.
