It was our first time. We really enjoyed ourselves. It's a very cute, cozy, quiet, romantic atmosphere. Perfect for a date night. I made last minute reservations that evening because I was torn between a few different places. I am glad we chose this one. I had the spaghetti and meatballsand my fiancé had the Hake fish with lemon and butter sauce. ?The fish, meatballs? and tiramisu were perfection. ? Growing up with an Italian step-father, I can tell true authentic Italian cooking and this brought me back in time. I also had the sangria which was delicious, it reminded me of my favorite bottle of Roscato wine.?
A beautiful place for authentic Italian cuisine. Great family restaurant. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on food products. You also have great wine selection. The food is AAAAAWWWEEEESSSOOOMMME. Freshly cooked in places. No freezer food. And no processed stuff, just REAL FOOD.. We really enjoyed the place. WARNING: You need to call to make sure that their seats are for you. Or just book. The place is always packed.. The best times for walks are Tuesday and Wednesday.. It's worth waiting. You will not be disappointed.. We love the place.
This was the most authentic Italian restaurant that we have been to!! We came here for a very special occasion and would recommend to anyone! The food was amazing, the staff was so friendly, and the building was gorgeous! Anthony waited on us and his wife Amy cooked the food and even came from the kitchen to ask how our meal was!
About the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer. It is an Italian restaurant to which you go with a date or a big party. There are 8 or 9 tables, so you get attention from the Ray/Nero family. Make sure what the weekly specials are and we would suggest a reservation if you come. We recommend!!
