I have just recently been to Pie Bob's in Arbroath. Normally the staff are very friendly BUT today I was very unlucky to be served by someone I hadn't seen before. That is I was served when I had to ask to be served as she was ready to serve the gentleman who came in after me. She was the only one serving behind the counter so I don't understand why she thought I was being served. Anyway when I asked for a particular cake I was told they didn't have any. When I pointed to the exact cake, she said oh there is some. No apology. She then put my items in a bag. When I got home I found the cake at the bottom of the bag, under pies and sausage rolls. Then the cake had been put in the bag, frosting top in the bottom of the bag. . As I was leaving the shop I said I thought her attitude stank and the woman who was paying beside me totally agreed. I won't be back if I see her behind the counter ever...
Awesome bakery, jam donut and iced yum yum were delicious, so were the bacon rolls. Clean and tidy with friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.
Scotch steak pies are amazing. Packed full of tender steak and gravy. Keep up the good work.
