Well, I’ve always gone there for more than 10 years, I live right behind the restaurantI’ve seen new servers come in and outThey’re were always amazingBut now, recently, since they remodel and change staff, it has become the worst.Today June 8 , 2023 at 11:amWent to get some lunch.I always like mix my pho and this time I got small pho, veggie broth, no onions with soft tendon and crab meat.At first the server said not to the crab meat, I don’t know why, then he changed his mind and say yes, I always ask for extra lime and before no one had a problem of giving me extra lime, today I asked for extra lime, they gave me 2 pieces extra, and when I go to payThey were charging me $1.00 for two lime wedges, come on people, this is ridiculous.I’ve been going every day there for more than 10 years and this is what it has come to?The service is really bad,There’s was this guy, a very good server, his name is Tren, amazing server and many more that are are not there anymoreYou need to hire more effective people because this old man and this young guy that are there now, are not good for business, the also demand tips for a bad service.
A bowl is about $15 now and the meats is less than other places. However, the meats and veggies are fresh and go well with the pho. There’s no meaty smell to it. The soup has a cleaner flavor, and it’s different from other places as well. The service was extremely fast if you go lunch time on a week day, our food came out in less than 5 minutes. The only downside is that there’s no lunch menu.
For $21 of pho this was a highly disappointing meal. Meat was chewy and tasted off. Broth tasted like dishwater (never tasted dishwater but I’m assuming it’ll be just as nasty). Maybe it was a bad night for them, but I wouldn’t come back to try my luck again. Only good thing was the jalapeños.Food: 1/5
We ordered Pho and we received the delivery in perfectly packed condition with fresh herbs and ingredients all clearly packed that day. This meal was excellent and very generous portion. I look forward to ordering more often, what a gem!! A+Food: 5/5
