If you like large portions of seafoods at a reasonable price. Hints: 1 come before 7 PM to avoid long waiting list (no booking 2 crowded and noisy 3 Large choice on vinho verde, some low alcool (9.5° , accommodate Seafoods very well 4 This revew is for the Pontault Combault 54 route de Paris only We have been there twice in the past 2 years, always on a Friday's evening. We always arrived before the opening at 7PM. The service is ok. Due to the good ratio value/money, there are always group of young people, family, co-workers, having celebrations of a kind. So it is noisy, but that is part of the ambiance. I read some reviews where people have been sick this never happened to us. If you do not like noise, waiting, and large portions of foods AVOID. They supply doggy bags.
I wish I could say my experience here was pleasant; but it was horrible! The food is legendary because of their huge portions and because it's one of the few Portuguese restaurants in the area. But don't waste your time! The food took 1 1/2 hours to make it to us and it wasn't all that great. The veal platter I ordered to share with my wife was terrible! The meat was something I could've saved 30 Euros on and cooked my own on a BBQ grill at home. The service was even worse! They don't wait on you and they don't even check on you. Save your money and time and eat somewhere else worth your money. Honestly this place isn't that great! Too bad we don't have the option to leave zero stars.
The food was oke but that can’t be said about the service in the restaurant. Horrible service. Rude waiters who have no respect for the customer. I won’t be going back and I don’t recommend this place!
The place wasn’t clean at all! The staff was super rude ! We found some hairs in our food and they didn’t care ! Super expensive ! Not coming back !
