Pearl China - Table reservation

After calling in a order I was told that it would be ready in around fifteen minutes. When I arrived to collect the order fifteen minutes later I was left standing at the counter without anybody acknowledging me while the young man who took my order and an older lady argued about messed up orders. After about ten minutes, by which time there was quite a queue behind me, I was told that the phone had cut out before my order was complete and consequently it had not been put through but if I wanted to wait they would continue with the order. I declined the offer as saying that the phone had cut out was untrue and a blatant excuse for messing up yet another order. A simple apology would has sufficed, but there was none offered. I have been a customer for many years but will not be going back.

Food is average, but there is always an issue when you do not have cash. At the moment not many people like to pay by cash, but this is always met with a bad attitude. You would have thought that by now, and especially during a global pandemic, when the world is shunning cash, they would have upgraded to a card machine. My family have had take aways from here for years, but due to the owners attitude, and bad manners, we will no longer be eating food from here. There is a far better and friendlier Chinese Take away about 3 minutes around the corner, that will now be getting our custom (They do also take cards)

I am disgusted ....ordered from their menu from their site to be over charged by £14 when I phoned pearl China they told me they had changed their prices but are not willing to honour menu price or change any of the online menu prices ...the member of staff spoke to me disgustingly and told me I had to deal with the fact that they added at least £2.50 to each dish and that they didn't have to change the prices on all 5 sites that show them prices ...should be shut down absolute RIP off merchants .

Same family for years. Always a warm welcome good menu with tasty food reasonable prices. Although they don't deliver its a short distance from lots of bus routes around the area orders can be placed on the phone prior to pick up.

Always make such delicious food. I don’t think I’ve ate anything from there that I did not like. Caters for vegetarian diets too
