Paya - Table reservation

Our food took an hour and half to arrive, it arrived with the wrong order and inedible prawn toast. Once we alerted the store, we were told we were lying and then we were told that the store is now closed at we then...were hung up on. I called back several times and received the same bad treatment. The staff member refused to refund the missing dish, which they price fairly excessively I might add or have the dish rectified. The Highgate branch should be avoided at all costs, the man who answers the phone is obnoxious! Absolute trash.

Ordered worth of food from there tonight, and much of it was poor, especially the half a crispy duck which was small and fatty and provided less meat than a quarter usually should. We managed to make four thin duck pancake rolls out of...it which works out at around for each. The prawn toast had a strange, reheated quality; the chicken chow mein was greasy. The clear vegetable soup was ok, as were the dim sum. But v poor for what we paid. It is a shame this used to be a good take away, but it is now a rip off.

Me and my boyfriend got food from here several times and it was always delicious. I was actually surprised to see how so many people had a bad experience, but i thought its good to share that we actually always were lucky enough to have...a good experience. I recommend from my experience.

Paya's food appears to be on a downward trajectory with the prices going in the other direction. The food is bland(ish) and I have been more and more unimpressed with each delivery order I have placed (infrequently) over time.

The worker told me to f$%k off and hung up the phone. NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM. Terrible terrible service.
