Pastis has an entrance at the upper and lower level, both entrances down separate alleys, slightly hidden. This was the first time I ventured down one of the alleys and observed the restaurant sign posted for lunch, so I decided to give the place a try. There are two seating areas in the basement one of small tables and the other room larger tables for groups. I preferred the upstairs dining area as there is more natural light entering and in my opinion it offers a bit more privacy verses downstairs. The menu consists of pizza, pasta, lasagna, appetizers, beer/wine and the lunch specials come served with a starter salad and fresh bread. I had the Pizza Hawaii, salad, fresh bread and a beer all for under 10€. I enjoyed the taste of the pizza and the crust was very good. The lady staff person was very nice. Overall, I was very pleased with the food, staff, atmosphere and I really enjoyed the older music playlist.
Friendly service, good food and the atmosphere of a quaint little Italian restaurant in on a small alleyway in the old town. The price is also very reasonable. In response to other reviewers, it's perfectly normal for restaurants (especially small ones) to only accept cash or payment with EC card, which is a debit card unique to Germany. Almost every restaurant and bar in Germany charges for water. These are both aspects which are common to most establishments, so I would not hold it against them.
We found this restaurant by coincidence. It's a nice small restaurant in a quiet part of the inner-city of Konstanz. We've ordered Pizza, which was not the best we've ever tried but it was really good and in our opinion the best in Konstanz. Also the prices are at a good level. The staff is very friendly! I really can recommend to try this restaurant. We definitely will visit again.
We stumbled upon this restaurant and sat in the quiet back alley terrace. It was a perfect location tucked away from the busyness of the city. They do have seating inside as well as their main terrace seating in front of their restaurant. We had great service, pizza was good, not best we have had, and prices are reasonable.
