I've been here twice, now, and both times everything was very, very good. This time I had their quiche which was delicious, but a bit large for me, so I shared. My friend found it really good as well. Their side salad was excellent very lightly dressed with a vinaigrette that was just right, not too much vinegar. Others in the group had the croissant and eggs, which they all agreed was delicious. My tarte tatin was delicious, and beautifully presented, so much so that I actually too a picture!If you're in the area of California Avenue in Palo Alto, this is a place you should try
We had reservationS for and were seated immediately. The service was excellent and the food delicious. The menu is varied with selections that met all palates. The waiter suggested a white wine that we all enjoyed even though of us favor red wines. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their selection. The onion soup is very good. Portions are plenty. Dont miss the desserts. We look forward to returning
Party of four. Three people had the mustard mussels and loved them. I had the ground beef with mashed potatoes and cheese on top. So good. Had the salad with goat cheese and everyone loved it. Also the calamari made with rice flour was delicious. Always have a nice meal at Pastis
The restaurant has changed ownership, and it shows. One of the benefits of this restaurant was the no corkage fee and that is gone. Just another average bistro now
