Sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant/Hotel direkt am Waldrand. Auf der Terrasse kommt schon fast ein Urlaubsgefühl auf. Dafür sitzt man drinnen wie im Wartesaal, was sicherlich der Architektur der 30er Jahre des vorigen Jahrhunderts geschuldet ist. Alles wirkt etwas veraltet, zwar ordentlich in Schuss, aber doch nicht edel-antiquiert.Der Service passt dazu, ordentlich, aber nicht über die Maßen freundlich und nur mäßig aufmerksam und engagiert. Hier ist Eigeninitiative gefragt, wenn man ein Getränk nachbestellen oder die Dessertkarte haben möchte.Das Speisenangebot ist ordentlich und passt zu dieser Art Restaurant, allein, es fehlt der Pfiff. Darüber vermögen auch diverse Aktionen (wie Spargelkarte etc.) nicht hinwegzutäuschen. Um keine Missverständnisse aufkommen zu lassen: Es ist alles nicht übel, aber dem Anspruch an ein solches Haus wird die Küche nur manchmal gerecht. Schade nur, dass es in Heiligenhaus auch keine echte Alternative für ein Geschäftsessen gibt ...
Very nice restaurant/hotel right on the edge of the forest. On the terrace there is almost a holiday feeling. For this you sit like in the waiting room, which is certainly due to the architecture of the 30s of the previous century. Everything looks a little outdated, though properly shot, but not noble-antiquated. The service fits, neat, but not friendly and only moderately attentive and dedicated. Here you need your own initiative if you want to reorder a drink or have the dessert card. The menu is neat and fits to this type of restaurant, alone, there is no reef. In addition, various actions (like asparagus card etc.) cannot fool. To avoid misunderstandings: everything is not bad, but the claim to such a house is only sometimes justified. Too bad there is no real alternative to a business dinner in Heiligenhaus...
We can confirm all previous positive reviews about the restaurant. Very friendly staff and a very good, clean overall impression. As mentioned in the hotel review, the dishes were tastefully prepared and served by a very friendly staff.
Das Essen ist in diesem Restaurant wirklich hervorragend. Alles ist frisch und hausgemacht mit Liebe zum Detail. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich. Sehr angenehmer Aufenrhalt.
