Papa John's Pizza

Was at a friends house where we all ordered Pizza. My Chicken BBQ arrived without any BBQ sauce on. I was going to leave it but the pizza tasted bland without it. Phoned up the branch and they first of all offered to just refund the account. Explained that I wanted the pizza delivered how it should have been. He then offered to send over some BBQ sauce to put on myself. Again explained that I wanted my pizza delivered and that my pizza would be cold by the time they sent over BBQ sauce. He then agreed to send a new pizza and to give back the wrong pizza to the delivery driver. 20 minutes later we get a phone call from a withheld number. It was the delivery guy saying that he is the car park but cannot find the property. We told him the door number and that we would stand at the front door and look out for him. He was nowhere to be seen. 5 minutes later he phoned again, then another 5 minutes and another. Eventually there was 3 of us walking around the estate looking for this incompetent delivery driver that has a problem with door numbers and the plenty of signs around indicating where each door number would be. 20 minutes had passed since his original phone call and I finally find him driving on to the estate. Who knows where he was. He got out of the car with no apology. I asked him if he had sat nav in his car, to which he replied, Yes, but the sat nav was taking me over there (pointing to the exact location of my friends house). He handed me my pizza. I tried to hand him the wrong pizza that I had been carrying around the estate and he refused to take it. I told him that I was instructed to give the pizza back to him and he said rudely and abruptly, No I don 't want it . Funnily enough I had no use for this pizza either. The guys car door was open so I put it on the seat of the car. He quickly took it back out and threw it all over the pavement and road. Got back inside and as I suspected, the new pizza was correct as far as the toppings were concerned but was now cold. Phoned up the branch again to explain everything that had happened.Spoke to somebody called Fehol or Sehol I couldn 't clarify this as he got angry at me when I asked if it was a F or an S. He told me he wasn 't going to do anything about it because he had already sent out another Pizza. I asked to speak to his manager and he refused. I asked for the managers name and he replied, No I am not going to give you his name because you are going to complain about me I told him that my complaint wasn 't going to be about him but now it was. I could see that I was not going to get anywhere with this rude, incompetent, arrogant piece of work and put the phone down.

I had placed an online order for my 2 kids and 2 nieces. There was an error on the app and the order was not acknowledged so I placed it again. When I checked the app the order had processed twice even though an email only confirmed one order. I telephoned the shop straightaway only to be told by a very rude manager that it had already been made (3 mins after placing I the order) and it was ready for delivery. I did not receive my pizza for nearly an hour later and the manager swore on the phone at me and was very aggressive and told me it was my problem and then hung up. I called back to ask for his name and he refused to speak with me and also said I can’t complain because he didn’t have head office’s details to give me. The driver appeared and was equally rude and dismissive and chucked my pizzas on an outside garden table. When I asked him to take the pizzas I didn’t order he threatened me verbally and then also refused to give me his name. I asked to take his licence plate number to report to their head office and then threatened me not to do so. When I asked whether he was here legally and whether the car was his because he was so shifty, he got out of the car and motioned to me with his fists. I have used this shop often and have received verbal abuse on other occasions and when we got the pizza it was lukewarm and we didn’t know if it has been tampered with. Do not use them if you are on your own with kids! I am a mother who was alone with 4 kids and they used their threatening behaviour to intimidate me so they didn’t have to help. Appalling!!!

Like I have read on other reviews there was a problem with the app on ordering and first one said that the basket stated empty. So reordered the same meal which went through and confirmed the meal. Pizza man delivered double the amount, when I queried why so much he said you ordered twice. I said no it was only once so he basically said oh well ring the shop! Rang straight away to be told by rude manager who completely spoke over me that they rang two numbers (funny how neither rang) and therefore said that they thought it was correct. I had ordered the pizza in half and half so said well that should have shown you it wasn't correct as why would I have ordered half and half same pizza twice ? I would have simply ordered 2 pizzas with the topping all over!! I said that I wanted a refund as not my mistake and paid in advance on PayPal and that as a customer who only buys pizza from here I would not be reordering if not refunded. This so called manager clearly did not give a toss and point blank refused a refund for their error! Never again, steer clear! And to rub insult into wound all the food was barely warm! Terrible service!!

Without doubt the wrist pizza ever. First off they said 35 minutes. After 45 I called back. They said it 's on its way. I live 5 minutes away. 10 minutes later still nothing. Finally arrived 10 minutes after that. The driver then almost threw the pizza at me. Then he held his hand out for a tip. Said there was no way they deserved a tip so he swore under his breath. I phoned the shop and told them but the person on the end of the phone just laughed and said I was lying because the pizza was a little page 35 minutes late. The pizza was woeful. Cold, ordered thick crust bit got thin but charged for thick. The corn on the cob was raw. The ice cream started melting. And the pizza treated truly awful. Was sick for 2 days after. Complained but told never to come back to the shop or order from them again. Even implied I was only complaint because I was racist. Ludicrous. Emailed head office but they said I need to deal with the store instead as it 's a franchise. Worst takeaway experience ever.
