We were expecting to have a nice date night as we usually do here. I ordered a lemon drop to drink and it was absolutely HORRIFIC. Not sure if the bartender was new or just an idiot because they definitely did not know how to read a basic recipe for a pretty simple cocktail. No lemon taste whatsoever. I can’t even describe the flavor because it was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. My boyfriend and I tried to choke it down but we both gagged and had to get something else. It also took FOREVER for us to get our food and it definitely was not a crowded night at all. It probably didn’t help that our server, Jen I think was her name, basically ignored us for most of the time and just talked about Covid and nonsense with the people at the table next to us. Her serving skills were beyond subpar so if you get stuck in her section, I’d request to move because she was worthless

The old standards (spaghetti, eggplant Parmesan, lasagna) are excellent. I’ve tried a couple of the other menu items and been very disappointed. Last night’s chicken Marsala was awful the sauce was not the least bit thick very watery. When I asked about it, the waitress said that’s how it always is prepared. We like the restaurant, but I will stick with the plain old Italian items from now on

Seated in a quiet booth, appetizers, salad, bread and entrees all very good
