Palio Taverna & Trattoria

In order to put the review into perspective, we have dined in a number of areas of Italy both in tourist and gourmet restaurants, most of which were very good, we even had large Italian cuisine in the USA. Sadly served the food...here does not compare with these experiences. The very limited menu here I think was a local interpretation of the Italian dishes and not a good one. My wife had a venous ravioli that she described as a strange **** without taste of calves. On a plus point the Amuse Bouche was beautiful as the bread. The prices were only for what was served, especially as the ordered part was great, in which world we were wondering. There are only two dessert offers. Given the hype on the ads and awards on the display, we expected good things, unfortunately very disappointed not a fine dining room experience only reduced a purse that is all for which it will be remembered.

I recommend this restaurant. I was there two days ago and everything was great. Please go for the 4 steps menu with wine arrangement. The waiter tells you everything about the wine and why it fits the dish. All the food was excellent....Bring some money and you won't regret it.

We enjoyed a three course fixed dinner because of our arrangement in the connected hotel. It is a nice restaurant with good service and good Italian food. The place is nicely decorated and definitely worth a visit.

Disaster! Overpriced menu. Euro 38 for a Sovjet look a like bean soup, a meat on I-dont-know-bed and a dirty servant. High price-No quality!

A wide variety of excelent food and a good wine selection. Friendly staff, speaking English.Tasty deserts.
