Paciugo Gelato Caffe

Stopped by for a quick dessert after shopping in the Quarry area. I didn't expect much as have been to many gelato shops and had similar experiences. However, this gelato was amazing and the real deal. There were probably 40 different flavors, so it was hard to narrow it down. Finally, ordered the grande cup since could pick 3 flavors. Also, ordered an Affogato to taste the coffee with the gelato. There were plenty of sitting areas inside and also a few tables outside. The 3 scoops in the grande were very generous. I was impressed with the amount of gelato he packed into the cup. Each scoop was extremely creamy and smooth. The flavor and freshness were equally as impressive. The affogato was also very good as you could equally taste the espresso and the gelato. If I wasn't so full from the 3 large scoops, I would've also ordered the stuffed donut and maybe sampled a few more flavors. I'll save that for my next trip coming up soon. Great gelato, drinks, and customer service.

I have been a fan of Paciugo’s since the first one opened in Dallas over a decade ago. This gelato is so delicious and such a different mouthfeel than ice cream. The flavors are intense and rich without feeling heavy. They tend to change things up a lot but still have go to favorites like the sea salt caramel and amaretto.
