This location is not as good or serviced as the Downtown, and Slauson locations. I ordered ahead 2 cat fish and shrimp dinners only to get to the place and be told they forgot to put my order in. We got pass that, another 20 minutes I finally received my order and failed to check it. When I got home I discovered that they had given me 2 catfish dinners. I called and the girl argued with me and told me that's what I ordered and that I had made the mistake. I ask to speakwith the manager and was left on the phone for 10 minutes. I called back and was left on the phone again. The girl Kelly or something like that had a very bad attitude. Never going back to this location. Also, the hot sauce had so much oilin it until it messed up the whole mean.
I thought I was in New Orleans!!!! Been a while since I?ve written a review but this place compelled me! In the area I grew up in and decided to stop by this gem while visiting. First time here so I ordered what I thought I might like. The OYSTER and CATFISH po boy and the lemon pepper catfish combo daily special. Oh-my-lord it was beyond delicious!! That sauce with it is mild but very, very good! I absolutely loved my meal and will be back every time I visit! And the breadpudding was some of the best I ever I tasted, and I come from a family of great cooks!
I have not been here or tried anything on their menu, but the Reviews are concerning to me! It's like their good days and bad days with no customer retention in place to correct a bad experience for repeat customers and customer satisfaction is not a priority . However their was a Great review from an Instagram food critic? You be the judge come back and give your thoughts. I will give it a try ASAP
Portion Control Much: I got the Gumbo Mumbo Platter and it was delicious but the second time I went back the size of bowl that they have me this time was a lot smaller so sorry but you get 2 stars for inconsistency Photos to show the difference in sizes yet price was the same
