Oishi - Table reservation

Everything about this place needs to be highlighted. The service is excellent, the food was fantastic and the prices are great value. The menu is comprehensive without offering everything under the sun, which for me gets the alarm bells ringing. The food is freshly prepared. I can recommend the Bento box. Pure theatre! Some of their twists are really interesting and work really well. I think their chef knows what he is doing and takes pride in his craft. they have very good options for vegetarians.

I asked the woman at the till if the restaurant was halal. She kindly answered a yes. I trusted her so I ate the chicken options which she confirmed were halal. What really worried me was the fact that I didn't see any halal certification or ask if there was any alchohol in some of their food. It was a delicious experience however and the food was well made and fresh. It was great and all, I'm just not sure if I was allowed to actually eat the food I never took a picture sorry

Great value for money had a chicken katsu well fried tender on the inside. Could not tell whether sauce was homemade or storebought, but frying of katsu was worth the 5/5 by itself. In terms of the chicken káraages once again excellent frying, no complaints

This place is a small japanese restaurant. For me it has good quality sushi, mediocre beef rice bowl. The service was acceptable.

We had the mixed platter plus chicken teriyaki and the spicy edamame. Fabulous, fresh, flavourful, a great selection.
