Myself and a crowd of friends recently toured Normandy to see the historic wartime sites. We stayed at the Premiere Classe Hotel and had breakfast here and afternoon drinks on many occasions. The food was excellent but what really made the place stand out was the way they looked after us with little snacks bought out if we were drinking and a goody back of food to take away when we finished breakfast. Found this by accident .funny little place attached to a supermarket. But the staff were so friendly to us used it every day throughout our stay . They would bring us snacks to eat when we were drinking and free crepes to take away with us .not the most glamorous of surrounding. But cheap tasty and convenient. We were staying in the nearby premier classe .Steak baguette with onions was very tasty
Our family of 27 was famished after visiting the D-Day sites and museums. We practically took all the remaining tables and some even sat outside on the terrace. But all of our orders were taken and brought out quickly to the joy of our 14 grandchildren and their parents! Some only had their favourites like Nutella crepe w/bananas, but others had full meals.
