What a ride! We took a 15-hour ride to Tail of the Dragon and were Not disappointed. From the views, the riders, scenery, curves, people, everything! We had a great time riding through the trail. It was cool to see so many different types of riders taking the ride. Please, PLEASE be careful on this road! It is a blast, but several die every year from riding outside of their limits. Be careful of the blind curves in the road and approach every turn with caution. There is a shop at the bottom of the tail. They also have a small food stand. Both close pretty early. Tail of the Dragon also has cabins available for rent. If I had known, I would have booked them before we left. It was a huge mark off my bucket list.
Holy moly this place is amazing. If you haven't tried their brisket sandwhich you haven't experienced life yet.
Wow BBQ was awesome and the tacos are the best can't go wrong with anything you order we loved it !!!
The Brisket is amazing!!! Looking forward to trying the tacos and Frito pie!!
