Visited for lunch. Atmosphere is welcoming, but sparse. Chairs aren't the most comfortable to sit in, especially for a long lunch. Which matters, because the service is slow. Very friendly, professional and gracious, but still slow. I'm wondering if it was because it was lunch time, not sure. With that said, they did have plenty of people coming in and no one complained about the wait, so that tells you something. I had the best cucumber/ tomato salad I've ever had! Whatever is in that vinaigrette, *chef's kiss*!! I had a chickpea dish with injera. It was spiced perfectly and so yummy. Flatbread ... I could eat that with anything! I'm definitely revisit, and next time, I'll give myself lots of time to enjoy the chai while I wait.
Delicious and very authentic Ethiopian food. The whole experience brought me back to my travels in the country. The food was absolutely delicious, and the owner was so warm and welcoming! We ordered the Garden of the Nile platter for two and there was more than enough food. All 10 stews were amazing and the sorrel hibiscus paired well nicely with our food. We absolutely adored our meal here! We ordered the Garden Platter which came with 10 hot stews and tons of injera, all of which were incredible! It fed the two of us well! We highly suggest eating here it is some of the best ethiopian food we have ever had! We cannot wait to go back to the nice chill vibes and the friendly kind service!
