Allgemein Wir waren 8 Tage auf Studienreise in St. Petersburg und Moskau und die beste Möglichkeit, entspannt den Urlaub zu beginnen, hieß für uns auch dieses Mal  „Park Sleep and Fly“. Diesmal entschieden wir uns für das NH Frankfurt Airport, ein modernes elegantes Flughafenhotel nur 1,5 km vom Frankfurter Flughafen entfernt. Wir waren mit unserer Wahl sehr zufrieden, hier stimmt das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis 115 € für ein großzügiges gut ausgestattetes Doppelzimmer mit üppigem Frühstück, kostenlosem Parken für 8 Tagen in der Tiefgarage und Shuttle zum Flughafen im 30 Minuten Takt inklusive.  Gastronomie Im Restaurant wird ein umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet mit einer großen Auswahl an warmen und kalten Speisen geboten, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Verschiedene auch frisch gepresste Fruchtsäfte,  ofenwarme Brötchen und  Brot, eine reichhaltige  Wurst und Käse sowie Marmeladenauswahl, Lachs , gekochte Eier und Rührei, Bacon schön kross,  Würstchen und Frikadellen sowie frisches Obst,  Müsli,  Quarkspeisen und andere Leckereien. Zum Mittag und Abendessen stehen internationale und deutsche Gerichte auf der gut sortierten Speisekarte.  Wir suchten uns gegen 19h einen schönen Tisch im Freien auf der  Innen Terrasse des Hotels. Während man in den hervorragend schallisolierten Zimmern des NH vom Fluglärm nichts mitbekommt, merkt man auf der Terrasse doch rasch, dass das Hotel sich in einer Landeanflugszone befindet. Hier rauschen um diese Uhrzeit im 5 Minutentakt die Jets über die Köpfe der Gäste, ab 21 Uhr wird’s ruhiger. Uns hat es nicht gestört, Fluglärm gehört zu einem Flughafenhotel nun mal dazu. Wir wurden im NH sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient, sowohl im Service an der Rezeption als auch von den Kellnern im Restaurant. Da gibt es absolut nichts auszusetzen. Essen Wir wählten das 300gr Rib Eye Steak und das Filet von der norwegischen Lachsforelle, dazu Pommes und Salat. als Begleiter zum Essen eine große Flasche Gerolsteiner medium, Henninger Bier und fruchtigen Pinot Grigio. Rechnung 59,50€ sehr moderat für ein tolles Essen mit Getränken. Die Köche verstehen ihr Handwerk. Als Gruß aus der Küche wurden frisch gebackene Brötchen mit Dreierlei Aufstrich serviert, Mediterranes mit frischen Kräutern, Tomaten, Oliven und Co. Die Zutaten aller Speisen waren einwandfrei, 1a in punkto Frische und Qualität, perfekt zubereitet. Ein hervorragendes kross auf der Haut gebratenes Lachsforellenfilet, das Fleisch besonders fein und saftig, das Innere wie es sein soll noch leicht glasig. Ebenso überzeugend das herrlich aromatische wie gewünscht medium gegrillte Steak, ein tolles Entrecôte, zart und saftig mit einem „lachenden“ Fettauge als charakteristisches Merkmal, ein Genuss. So muss es sein. Auch die Beilagen, ein bunter knackig frischer Salat Mix, die selbstgemachten Steakhouse Pommes sowie die kräftig intensive Rotweinjus zum Steak konnten überzeugen. Fazit:  empfehlenswertes Airport Hotel mit sehr gutem à la carte Restaurant und freundlichem Service

General We stayed 8 days on study trip in St. Petersburg and Moscow and the best way to start the holiday relaxed was for us also this time “Park Sleep and Fly”. This time we opted for NH Frankfurt Airport, a modern, elegant airport hotel just 1.5 km from Frankfurt Airport. We were very pleased with our choice, here is the price-performance ratio 115 € for a spacious, well-equipped double room with lush breakfast, free parking for 8 days in the underground garage and shuttle to the airport in 30 minutes. Gastronomy The restaurant offers a rich breakfast buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes that leave nothing to be desired. Various also freshly squeezed fruit juices, small rolls and bread, a rich sausage and cheese as well as jam selection, salmon, boiled eggs and agitator, Bacon beautifully crocheted, sausages and friikadellen as well as fresh fruits, cereals, quark dishes and other treats. International and German dishes can be found in the well-stocked menu for lunch and dinner. We were looking for a beautiful outdoor table on the hotel's indoor terrace. While in the superb soundproofed rooms of the NH, you can quickly see that the hotel is located in a landing zone. At this time in the 5 minutes cycle, the jets come out of the minds of the guests, from 9 a.m. it becomes calmer. It didn't bother us, flying noise belongs to an airport hotel. We were served in the NH very friendly and friendly, both at the reception and the waiter in the restaurant. There is absolutely nothing to bring out. Food We chose the 300gr Rib Eye Steak and the fillet from the Norwegian salmon trout as well as pommes and salad. as a companion for eating a large bottle of Gerolsteiner Medium, Henninger Beer and fruity Pinot Grigio. Please €59.50 very moderate for a good food with drinks. The chefs understand their craftsmanship. Freshly baked rolls with three types of spread were served as a greeting from the kitchen, Mediterranean with fresh herbs, tomatoes, olives and co. The ingredients of all dishes were perfect, 1a in punkto freshness and quality, perfectly prepared. An excellent chess on the skin fried salmon trout fillet, the meat especially fine and juicy, the interior, as it should still be glazed easily. Also convincing is the wonderfully aromatic as desired medium-grilled steak, a great entrecôte, delicate and juicy with a “laughing” fat eye as a characteristic feature, a pleasure. It must be. The additions, a colourful fresh salad mixture, the self-made Steakhouse Pommes as well as the intense red wine jus zum Steak could also convince. Conclusion: Recommended airport hotel with very good à la carte restaurant and friendly service
