Nativo Bistro Restaurante

We ran into this cute little bistro as soon as we began exploring in the Walled City, Cartagena. It was a great pick!! We got some sort of fish soup, which was very fresh, but a little too overwhelming. I also ordered ceviche for the first time and it was an absolute hit!! I LOVED IT!! The avocado and frish was so fresh and all of the flavors blended so well. I would definitely recommend Nativo for the evening ambiance and the ceviche and homemade plantain.

Stumbled in here with my family in law. I had the pollo con curry (which I might add is not a typical Colombian dish and it blew me away. The sauce was simply excellent. The other members of the family had somewhat more typical Colombian dishes and were all satisfied. Advice: pay attention to detail in the interior , limit your menu somewhat and focus on online media and the customers will keep flowing in.

We had reasonable food : steak and a rice dish. The staff had no clue how to serve. It takes them forever to serve water and drinks. One main course gets served and then it takes far too long for the main course of the other person to arrive. Explaining how one wants meat done is a challenge and then a medium steak turns up almost alive on the plate. Language skills nil.

We ate dinner here one night. The service was good. The coffee and limonada were good. We had rice with shrimp and grouper, and both were good. The rice and beans and patacones side dishes were also good. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They had air conditioning.

We went there just because it was near the B&B we were staying at. And it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Nice lunch set menu, tasty and copious enough. Recommended if you need something fast,
