My family and I left here a little disappointed having wanted to visit for a good while due to observing how pleasant the building and outdoor canal side seating areas are. Sadly, the interior resembles a roadside cafe and does not match the promise of the outdoor area; the layout is quite confused in places it resembles a pub, in other places a residential home...and the decor is stark. Everything feels cheap and not cheerful, including even the actual menus. The food was OK nothing exceptional but nothing bad either. We were all satisfied with our choices but not blown away. We had all expected better quality, especially considering the prices it is expensive for what you actually get. The service was good not overly friendly, but very efficient. Would we go back? Not sure...I could imagine sitting outside on a warm summer evening enjoying tikka and chips as a pub meal, but none of us would return for a formal sit down meal inside or consider it a go to restaurant. Shame.
