Went to the location in San Rafael with 3 friends who happen to be developmentally delayed, one of which wanted soup, specifically. We checked the menu and it had soup in it. While waiting for their turn, 3 adult men came in and tried to take their places ahead of my friends, however the server asked my friend for his order first, he asked for the soup and was told that they didn?t serve soup. That caused the 3 men to burst out laughing at my friend for daring to ask for such an item. Very embarrassed, my friend went outside to wait for the others. I approached those men and showed them the menu with the picture of a bowl of soup in it and reminded them that they were making fun of someone with a disability. Now, while it is not the business owner and employees fault for those men behavior, it is their fault for advertising something they re not providing. The soup had been advertised on their display menu, on their take out menu and on the live screen on the wall. As far as I know all this situation could have been averted if there was no false advertisement from the place. Too bad, we won?t be coming back.
