large fish and chips, nicely cooked large portions did not have to wait too long. my mother claims to be a fish and chip expert and she liked it a lot, especially the muddy peas. Cell phone parking when they take away. we drove to southampton road and enjoyed sitting outside on a bank that watched the sea. always the best away. and the möwen have also behaved to supplement the experience.

excellent meal of fishing and chips in restaurant. fish was fresh and damp with beautiful crispy teig. excellent value, well boiled by charlie. phil, the manager, could not have been more helpful as I am in the wheelchair and needed help to sit. jill, the waitress was polite and quick to use. well done

had an excellent meal here. fish was cooked to perfection. the fish was moist with a real crispy teig. well made to charlie the chef. the service was fast and efficient and the restaurant was well operated by jill and lynda. in this traditional fish and chip restaurant there is a regular one.

We went for lunch on the spur of the moment and were lucky to get a table. We had pensioner haddock and chips. Good size portions that were lovely and crispy. The tea was good and strong. The quality of the food at Mother Kelly's is consistently excellent and the staff are always friendly.

a real sitting place, chippy. kabeljau, schellfisch, chips, brot and butter and muddy heaps. perfect. nothing pretentious, just eating real.
