Yesterday,12.2.,that is, on a Sunday we were 4 people for the tour of the castle moritzburg. 11.30 clock I asked the very nice woman susanne rölke whether she can reserve us a table for 12 clocks. she replied, "but if you want to go for another half an hour, then I have a table for her." that's how it was. when we arrived 12 o'clock, we were ready for a table in the tower area and we were served immediately, very nice and courteous. both the aperitivs, the other drinks as well as the 4 different eating came after very short time and were all perfect. as we have worked several decades in the gastronomy, we can only express a huge praise to the entire staff, so service and kitchen. there was as good as no free space in the restaurant and yet all service staff were polite, flott, nice and always striving for all guests.We could not discover a gast that would have been in some way dissatisfied, the moritzburger castle restaurant can recommend to everyone and will do so too, because better you can hardly make gastronomy. even the prices are very moderate for such a predestined situation. for us a part of a perfect day. matthias, sabine andreas mizera and julia aniol
we had to wait relatiw for a long time until the service has recorded our order.The light was so dark, the music was asleep. I'm actually almost asleep.My cake and my hot chocolate were very delicious. the 3 really small cucumbers for 6,90 euro were really overpriced. Although it has tasted well, it was clearly too little for the price. The selection of the warm dishes sounded good, nevertheless nothing has convinced me so much, so there was only cake - but it really tasted good.We come back to this in every case, but whether we are going to eat again is questionable.

After we had seen the exhibition, we decided to eat lunch in the closed restaurant. we were directly impressed by the quality of the food and the attentive service. after a walk in the park we returned here to drink coffee and local desserts, and we confirmed that this restaurant and its staff are excellent!
