Very good food and service. We had a steamed clams appetizer and three lunch entrees. All of the food was very good, and the service was attentive.Two negatives. One is that the lunch menu on opentable which is dated one day prior to our visit is not current, and the prices are about higher. This is minor, the food available was still good. The other is that the ambience is reduced by the fact that the restaurant is in a construction zone. I am sure it will improve once the construction is over, but for the time being the nice window tables do not have the nicest view
The food is always delicious. The staff is always amazing. They take reservations, but you hardly seem to need them. Plenty of good wine and the servers know quite a bit about wine as well as the menu. The only complaint is that you have to park downtown to get there, and the atmosphere feels a little bit crowded. If you're into a San Francisco Manhattan big city vibe, it's probably not that bad. The tables are kind of close together, and during the winter the floor can get a little messy and wet.
Katy was our waitress and thought she was great. The food is fantastic with a lot of choice for gluten-free or vegetarian or both! It'll be pretty loud when it's full of people. It's fun.
