Every time I go. Even with a reservation it's packed. And I'm not seated. I was a few minutes late today, with a 6pm reservation and they gave my reservation away. Told me the wait was 45 minutes for a table so we went to red lobster. I've been trying to take my wife on a date here for 3 months, 3 attempts now and finally gave up. The old white people who frequent this place as customers treat it like a gang hangout. There's no room at the bar unless they know you.
Cool place. My wife and I like sitting at the bar or in the bar area. It’s a bit more fun environment. Bartenders are great. The sushi is quite good. We started with the Gyoza which are really good. Love the BBQ tuna. We got three rolls, I don’t remember what they are called, but they were tasty. Always an enjoyable time and meal.
Came here on a weeknight for family dinner. Despite not being crowded, seating and table service was slow. Fortunately, we sat at the sushi bar, and the itamae was pleasant, quick, and attentive. Sushi was excellent. Cocktail was tasty.
Located in Lyon Village. Went with a friend who wanted sushi. I don't like sushi so had the teriyaki chicken with rice a la' carte which is a smaller portion. Perfect size for me. We split a tempura shrimp.
