The service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is mediocre since you're sitting in the middle of the hotel and can hear the casino. I do like the hedges in the planter boxes. The food was okay but not great. The Mac n cheese was a little bland, it really needed the bbq sauce they brought on the side to be tasty at all. The actual Mac n Cheese was tasteless. I think it needed pepper, salt and probably a better cheese. It's best attribute was that it's in the hotel, so it's convenient.
My 2 sons I stayed overnight, had breakfast in Minniehaha Cafe. The younger son ordered a bacon cheese omellete, with toast and OJ. His breakfast cost $27.00! They charged $9.00 for a small juice size OJ. They charged $10.00 for the omelette, and another $8.00 for the bacon inside. It wasn't a side order, just some crumbles inside. I had eggs Benedict and coffee, and the other son had coffee and french toast swirl with pecans. Our bill was $67.00! Completely outrageous. Will never pay that price again.
I got food poisoning! went and dined yesterday. Nothing seemed appetizing so I opted for breakfast. Toast, sausage, bacon and eggs. It did not taste great but I was hungry and ate it all. No more than 2 hours after, I started getting stomach aches and chills. Yesterday night, I woke up to diarrhea 4am! I will never give mystic lake a single dollar! I’ve called numerous times and only got a hold of a voice mail. Service: Dine in
Exceptional food, Exceptional service, not too loud. The mixed drinks were notably good. We got the Siesta, Hiawatha Sidecar, and the Walk Me Down. To eat we got the Pork Valencia, the Adult Mac Cheese and the burger. Of them, the burger was the most normal, but still very tasty. There was not a bad part. We enjoyed it immensely Service: Dine in
