Probably on the best and best known Deli's in NJ. A lot of variety on the menu and the food is delicious every time. The staff is super courtesy and helpful, the place is always clean, the quality of the food is always consistent, and it is usually ready for pickup when you preorder even when it is busy. These are all you have to praise! But I can't help but feel that this place is too expensive. $14 for a sandwich from a DELI and I don't even get chips? A full pickle? I still have to pay for something trivial like extra Mayo? They're just Nitpicks, but I felt they're worth mentioning. Despite the expensive nature, I recommend this deli!
I was not the easiest customer for Millburn Deli today. The staff and ownership handled it very well. I have enjoyed their food and it’s been my go-to deli for over two years. If you haven’t had a sloppy joe, ya gotta. Just be specific. There are a lot of ingredients and try as I have, no one has ever guessed right about the amount of Russian dressing I like. Breakfast sandwich, any, you can’t go wrong. Sandwich (sweet) Cole slaw. Pickle slices. Russian dressing. All sold separately in larger quantities. Highly recommend. Marcus
The BEST BEST BEST sandwiches you will ever eat. I'm not kidding. This deli is over an hour from my house but I'm planning on coming back regularly because the pressed pastrami sandwich was like no other sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. The swiss gets super crispy and the meat is super high quality. I also love the Russian dressing. Every bite is as delicious as the next. The munch of the month was also super great which I've added a picture of below.
My family has been coming here for years and years and we still love it despite the price increases. I’ve also tried a bunch of their sandwiches and they’ve all been amazingI love the decor with funny signs, the food, and the extra seating. So proud of this local business!
